Overview

Our client is an emerging Gas explorer, producer and supplier of Gas to the Australian domestic market. Upon acquisition of an existing gas processing plant in the Otways region, our Client required the facility to be brought back from a mothballed state to full production. Vecta is currently undertaking the site works associated with this plant refurbishment.

Scope

The scope including:

• Workpack development for over 100 static pieces of equipment

• Static equipment inspection support in order to meet the statutory requirements for pressure vessels, bulk storage tanks and piping for the Client to safely operate the plant

• Assisting the Client’s third-party contractor to conduct inspections of equipment on-site

• Sales gas piping, compressor suction header blowdown line and MEG system piping installations including PWHT, NDT and hydrotesting

• Flare Tank – removal of existing and installation of replacement unit

• General maintenance Work Pack development and execution as identified from inspections and previous CMMS reference lists

• Valve (Control and Pressure Relief) – removal/ overhauls / test / install

• Project work inclusive of piping modifications and flare tank replacement

• Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up support as required after the mechanical completion date.

Outcomes

Vecta, with our Lean Operating Model, were able to respond to the required time frames, whilst on-boarding, service provider selection, mobilising and executing within in concurrent phases.

With a Vecta site team of Project Management, Trade Resources and Specialist Subcontractors, Vecta is currently delivering these works for our Client on schedule, with safety being at the forefront of our execution plans.
